Rebecca Frankel, Founder & CEO.
Mathematician, the creative mind behind neurohire and the machine-learning algorithm powering it. Educated at NYU and Yale. Completed all but one of the courses for the PhD in mathematics at Yale University, where she was awarded a fellowship. Sponsored at numerous prestigious math conferences, including one held at the University of Oxford in June/18.
Dr. Arthur Lubitz, MD, F.A.A.,A.I., Cofounder, Chief Strategy Officer.
Clinical Faculty of the NYU-Langone School of Medicine and attending allergist/immunologist at NYU-Langone Medical Center. Founder of Arthur Lubitz MD P.C. F.A.A.A.I., 30 years in existence. Appeared on local and national television as expert allergist. Acting chief of immunology at North General Hospital 1996-1999. An early believer in squareteams, he has been an integral part of crafting and developing the vision driving neurohire.
Benjamin Ostrowski, Director of Organizational Behavior.
A graduate with a BA in psychology from Brown University, Ben is a Ph.D. student in Organizational Behavior and Theory in the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, where he uses both quantitative (laboratory and field) and qualitative methods to address his research interests, which include team problem formulation, creativity, improvisation, and adaptability.
Software Engineering Lead. Zhiheng attained his masters from Carnegie Mellon. His experience includes a data mining engineering internship at CBIM & a UX design internship at Modelo.
NLP group. A junior at the University of Pennsylvania, Stephen has worked on NLP models to analyze misclassified federal forms and embedded systems approaches to USB device verification and security. Stephen is excited to apply his knowledge and skillset to neurohire's team. Stephen is joining neurohire on Sunday, October 18th.
Game Development and Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, and Machine Learning Groups. A junior at the University of Pennsylvania, David's done software engineering & process engineering internships at Kulicke & Soffa as well as a social media marketing one at Just Born, Inc. David is excited to apply his knowledge and skills to the team at neurohire.
Game Development Lead. An undergrad at Carnegie Mellon University, Anna is attaining a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Art, with minors in Animation, Game Design & Human Computer Interaction. Anna did an internship at Bristol-Myers Squibb; did an academic project for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG); worked as an advisor for Makers' Technology Lab; and did an apprenticeship for X (AiPEX) Lab. She's looking forward to developing game-based challenges for neurohire.
Computer Vision group. Arpit is graduating with a Masters from the University of Southern California this fall, after having graduated with distinction from the Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai. His research assistantships include a Deep Learning Research Assistantship for the Wireless Devices and Systems Group (WiDeS) at USC & one at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in Mumbai. Arpit also won the prestigious FORD Prize at the UC Berkeley Hackathon 6.0 less than a year ago
Computer Vision group. Simay is attaining a joint BS-MS at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering & has completed a number of impressive internships. For JFORCE in Istanbul, Turkey, she developed an image recognition project on 5K images. For Inovako she implemented image processing & computer graphics techniques, developing object detection models. Simay will join neurohire on January 25th, pending CPT approval.
Jeffrey Carr, Advisory Board member
Jeff's been on the faculty of NYU Stern School of Business for 23 years, where he teaches marketing, competitive strategy & entrepreneurship in the MBA, EMBA & undergrad programs. His distinguished career encompasses his role from '07-
'12 as the Executive Director of the NYU Stern Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. As a consultant he's worked extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa & the U.S. for clients such as IBM, Pfizer, Kodak, McCann-Erickson, Pepsi, Time Inc.
Shay Cohen, Advisory Board member
Shay's a Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, who attained his PhD from Carnegie-Mellon University. His interests are focused primarily in the intersection of computational linguistics & machine learning. He's interested in developing ways for reasoning about compositional structures such as parse trees through the use of formalisms such as probabilistic grammars.
Much of his research has relied on capturing the syntax of natural language using probabilistic grammars.

Mirella Lapata, FRS, Advisory Board member
Mirella's a professor at the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on probabilistic learning techniques for natural language understanding and generation. She's interested in the general problem of extracting semantic information from large volumes of text & was awarded a €1.9M ERC grant for research into translating from multiple modalities to text.
Russell Lock, Advisory Board member
As part of a team of researchers from St Andrews & Edinburgh Russell performed observations of complex socio-technical systems, including the Scottish Elections in ‘07.
A Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Loughborough University and an interdisciplinary software engineer, Russell’s research interests include socio-technical systems design, modeling, and analysis, sensor data gathering & analysis, and social networking technologies.
